Organic Cotton
Our undyed Tanks, Tees and Long Sleeves are not pre-shrunk. Expect hems and long sleeves to shrink up 1 - 1.5 inches with first wash and dry.
Natural Dye
Any piece we dye by hand will have its own unique coloring and “imperfections.” We do wash these pieces after dyeing, but please wash separately or by hand for first wash to avoid color transfer.
Washing + Drying
Always wash in cold water and tumble dry with low heat, or air dry. This saves energy and helps preserve your garment’s size and shape.

These pants are made with 100% salvaged fabric. 2.7 fabric yards redirected from landfill.
Deadstock
Fast fashion encourages fabric to be made cheaply and overproduced. In the US alone, brands send 11 million tons of extra fabric to be landfilled or incinerated every year. We salvage these fabrics at resale markets in New York, Los Angeles and Cleveland to make as many new pieces as the discarded fabric allows. Waste is only waste if you waste it!
Low-Waste
We save every scrap of fabric from our factory to share with our community partners: our scraps are composted into rich soil with Rustbelt Riders, pulped into artisan paper with The Morgan Conservatory and reworked into new pieces by local designers. Our zero-waste goal adds value to our community without adding volume to its landfills.
